Jennifer Williams is a painter and educator based in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She is a professor of art at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, where she teaches drawing and painting, working across acrylic, encaustic, and oil.

Her work draws from patterns, color, and the interplay between natural and built environments, translating everyday observations into an expressive visual language.

Her recent body of work, Meditations on Trees and Stones, reflects a contemplative engagement with landscape, memory, and creative flow. Informed by travel, observation, and time spent in nature, the series explores texture, rhythm, and the quiet presence of natural forms, inviting a slower, more attentive way of seeing.

She maintains an active studio practice at the Rivoli Arts District alongside her teaching.
